Puff Pastry with Nutella

  • You want to eat something simple, and you have these two ingredients, so I suggest you make this simple puff pastry treat with Nutella. The dough is fantastically airy and very tasty and soft by this method, try it.

Ingredients: easy, total time: 30 min. 4 persons
  • 2 rolls of puff pastry

  • 8 Tbsp of Nutella I have put 3 full Tbsp, depend on how you like a sweet

For Coating:

  • 1 egg yolk + 50 ml milk

Preparation:
  1. Prepare all the ingredients listed above. Take puff pastry and place on baked paper. Flatten the dough slightly with a rolling pin. Mark 3 equal pages on the puff pastry. In the very middle, you will put the Nutella filling, 3-4 Tbsp. The left side of the dough roll over the Nutella filling and connect the sides. The right side of puff pastry slightly, cut several lines at the top to down with a knife. Switch the puff pastry strip straightly and the other strip diagonally across, so that it looks like the crossed cross is repeated until the end. Transfer the prepared pastry to the baking tray together with the baking paper.

  2. Mix the egg yolk with a little milk and brush the puff pastry on all sides. Repeat the same procedure with the rest of the puff pastry.

  3. Bake in a preheated oven at 180 °C, about 15 minutes. When done, leave for 10 minutes to cool, then serve. Buon appetito!
