San Sebastian Tiramisu

  • San Sebastian Tiramisu is very easy to prepare and ready quickly. A wonderful and creamy Italian dessert that pleases at any time. Follow recipe.

Ingredients: simple, total time: 40 min.
  • 4 egg yolks

  • 100 g of powdered sugar

  • 500 g of mascarpone cheese

  • 250 ml of sweet cream

  • 2 big packages of biscuits  Ladyfingers - Savoyardi

  • 250 ml of brewed strong black coffee

  • a little rum/ or Marsala

  • cocoa powder as needed

Preparation:
  1. Beat egg yolks with powdered sugar, until it doesn't become foamy and smooth.

  2. Then cook them to low to moderate heat for between 15–20 minutes, until thickened. Let it cool.

  3. When it cools down, add the mascarpone cheese and beat a little again.

  4. In another bowl, whip the sweet cream separately.

  5. Then gradually add it to the pre-whipped mixture, then whip it again with spatula or with mixer at low speed.

  6. Brew the coffee, then strain it. Add some rum, or Marsala for a nicer taste.

  7. Dip the cookies in the coffee prepared in this way. 

  8. Apply the prepared cream on top, then again the cookies and then the cream.

  9. Then sprinkle the tiramisu with cocoa powder.

  10. Leave the cake to cool for 1–2 hours and then serve.
