## Delicious Tomato Sauce Topping for Cooked Vegetables

  • This fantastic sauce, which is tasty and quick to prepare, is ideal for toppings of cooked vegetables and even meat. Preparation is quick and easy. Follow recipe.

Ingredients: simple, total time: 15 min. 4 serving
  • 250 ml tomato paste "Mutti"

  • 2 Tbsp Olive oil EVO

  • 1. 5 Tbsp flour

  • 1/2 tsp sugar

  • 150 ml water

  • 1 /2 dry parsley/ optional

Preparation:
  1. Pour the olive oil into a small saucepan and heat it over low to moderate heat.

  2. Add a spoon and a half of flour and mix quickly and without lumps for about 1–2 minutes.

  3. Immediately add the tomato paste, mix quickly to make everything uniform, reduce the heat add a little water, cook and mix for 5–7 minutes until the sauce thickens.

  4. On its own, if you want, you can add half a teaspoon of dry parsley, but it is not mandatory.

  5. You can serve this sauce with cooked vegetables, with which it goes fantastically.

  6. Enjoy!

  • Keep the rest of the sauce in the refrigerator for up to 2–3 days.
