Almond Tart with Cherries

  • A beautiful and delicious cake made from a combination of almonds and cherries. It is easy to prepare, and the cake is ready quickly. Sometimes you can use raspberries or strawberries if you are a fan of this fruit like me. Follow recipe.

Ingredients: simple, total time: 80 min.

Others:

  • about 300 g of cherries

  • 110 g ground almonds

  • 110 g softened butter

  • 100 g of sugar

  • 2 eggs

  • 1 large Tbsp of flour

Preparation:
  1. On a sheet of baking paper, spread your shortcrust pastry, place it in a pie pan, remove the excess pastry and prick the pastry with a fork. Place your dough in the fridge for 30 min.

  2. In a bowl, whisk the eggs with the sugar, add the softened butter, mix then the ground almonds and the flour, mix well.

  3. Wash the cherries, cut them in half and remove the pits.

  4. Place the cherries tightly on the shortcrust pastry. Pour the preparation, distribute it well and delicately so as not to move the cherries.

  5. Then bake in a hot oven at 180 °C for about 30 minutes.

  6. When the pie is ready, peel and sprinkle with powdered sugar or cherry syrup with grounded almonds. Serve. Buon appetito!
