Apple Fritters

Apple fritters are a soft and fragrant delicacy that you will ask for more. In addition to being delicious, they are also very easy to prepare. It is also an economical recipe, and we generally have the groceries at home. Follow this wonderful recipe.
Ingredients: simple, total time: 30 min. 2 servings
3 medium apples
1 lemon juice
For frying the apples:
2 large eggs
1 lemon zest grated
130 ml milk / or yogurt
130 g soft flour 00
1 full Tbsp cornstarch
8 g baking powder
pinch of salt
and:
300 ml oil for frying
powdered sugar/ or granulated sugar + cinnamon for dipping
Preparation:
Wash the apples and clean them from the skin, with the help of a tool, hollow out the middle, that is, remove the seeds so that a circle remains in the apple. Cut into slices 5 mm thick.
Place sliced apples in a tray and sprinkle with lemon juice. Let them sit while you make the breading mixture.
Beat eggs in a deep bowl, then add milk (or yogurt), lemon zest and stir briefly with wire.
Now add flour mixed with baking powder, starch and pinch of salt-combine it all well with a wire.
With the help of kitchen paper, dip in the apples and dry them well.
Heat 300 ml of oil over moderate heat.
Dip each slice of apple in the mixture, drain well, and add to the hot oil.
Fry until golden brown on both sides, turning with a fork. Cooking each side takes about 3 minutes.
Set aside the finished apple fritters on the kitchen paper in a plate.
Then roll them in the granulated sugar mixed with cinnamon, or wait for them to cool down and sprinkle them with powdered sugar.
Serve when cooled.
