## Crispy Delight: Exploring the Flavors of Chinese Fried Chicken
Chinese-style fried chicken, wonderful crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The preparation is very quick and simple, it will only take you 35 minutes. Follow recipe.
Ingredients: simple, total time: 35 min. 4 serving
660 g chicken breast/ cut into bites or strips
1 big egg
1 tsp salt
1 tsp black pepper
Mixture:
200 g flour
2 Tbsp cornstarch
1/2 tsp salt
1 bag baking powder
300 ml water
and:
350–500 ml oil for frying
sweet - sour sauce for dipping
Preparation:
Wash the meat and clean it from cartilage and bones. Then cut into bite-sized pieces.
In another bowl, beat the egg, salt and pepper and mix well.
Pour this mixture over the meat and mix by hand, then store in the refrigerator for 20 minutes.
After the time has passed, add flour, salt, baking powder, starch to the bowl and pour 300 ml of water over it, whisk it all well with a whisk. The mixture must be as thick as for pancakes.
Add chicken and egg to this mixture and mix everything well.
Heat the oil on low to moderate heat.
As soon as the oil is heated, put the pieces of meat to the bowls, drain well, and gently lower them into the hot oil. Fry about 3–4 minutes, several pieces at a time, turning them until they are golden brown on both sides.
Put the finished fried pieces on a kitchen towel in a plate to absorb excess oil.
Serve warm with your desired side dish, with sweet sour sauce.

NOTE:
You can keep the rest of the chicken with the mixture in the refrigerator until tomorrow.
If you like spices, you can add a little garlic powder and a sweet or hot ground pepper.
You can keep the finished fried pieces covered in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
