Onion Rings, the best simple recipe

  • The simplest recipe for onion rings, it is quick to prepare and quickly ready. Serve like appetizer. Follow recipe.

Ingredients: simple, total time: 20 min, 2 servings
  • 1 large red onion /cut into 1 cm slices, rings separated

  • 150 g flour 00

  • 180 ml of mineral water

Preparation:
  1. Take the onion and peel it and cut it into rings 1 cm wide.

  2. Combine flour and mineral water and mix well into a compact mixture.

  3. Pour 1/3 of the oil into a deep dish and heat well.

  4. Roll the onion rings in the flour mixture and drain them well.

  5. Carefully pour into the hot oil and fry for about 2–3 minutes, until golden brown. Remove them with a slotted spoon and place them on a plate lined with a paper towel to absorb all the fat.

  6. If you have a deep fryer, it will be even better and faster. Serve warm as an appetizer, with mayonnaise, ketchup or any other dressing that goes with hamburgers. Buon appetito!
