Potatoes with Meat Filling in the Oven

  • A wonderful, delicious dish of potatoes and a mixture of meat with the addition of 3 different cheeses from the oven. Preparation is simple and quick.

  • Be sure to make this dish, and you will be delighted. Follow recipe.

Ingredients: oven baking tray, total time : 60 min., servings: 4 persons

For Purée:

  • 7-8 big potatoes

  • 80 g of Edam cheese

  • 3-4 Tbsp flour

  • 2 Tbsp of milk 30 ml

  • 1 tsp of salt

  • 4 g allspice

  • 1 tsp /Vegeta

  • 1 tsp mint

For Meatballs:

  • 400 g of minced meat / pork and beef

  • 1 egg/ scrambled

  • 120 g of cabbage/ chopped cabbage

  • 2 Tbsp of vegetable oil 30 ml

  • 3 cloves of garlic/ finely chopped

  • 1 onion/ finely chopped

  • 1 tsp of salt / 8 g

  • 3 full Tbsp of breadcrumbs

  • 1 tsp black pepper

  • 1 tsp cumin

  • 2 tsp red ground paprika

  • 1 tsp thyme

  • 1 Tbsp parsley/ finely chopped

For the sauce:

  • 4 Tbsp of tomato paste / 120 g

  • 100 ml cup of water

  • little salt

  • oregano to taste

For the Topping above:

  • 100 g of Edam cheese or Mozzarella cheese

  • grated Parmesan Cheese to taste

  • oregano/optional

Preparation:
  • Prepare all the ingredients as described above.

Pure:

  1. Pour water into a deeper pot, add the washed potatoes with the shell, and cook for about 30 minutes.

  2. Cook the potatoes until they soften, the controls with a fork.

  3. When the potatoes cooked, leave them to cool, then peel and strain them with a fork.

  4. Then add 3 tablespoons of flour and milk, mix all the ingredients well so that the mixture is compact and even. And set aside.

Meatballs:

  1. In a larger bowl, place the chopped cabbage in thin strips of minced meat and dry ingredients, finely chopped onion and garlic, and mix well.

  2. Then add the liquid ingredients and mix well to make the mixture even.

  3. When the mixture is ready.

  4. Stirred meat, you can put in the refrigerator for 20 minutes.

Processing:

  1. Take an oven tray and lubricate with a brush with a little oil.

  2. Turn on the oven at 200 °C.

  3. Take the purée that you have strained and mixed, pull it out with the help of a spoon and shape it into a round shape and make a hollow for the meat filling.

  4. Make the ball 10 cm in size, arrange them on a baking tray formed with recesses.

  5. Then place the meat filling inside the potatoes, making sure the filling is a little more convex.

  6. Repeat with the others the same process until you have used up all the material.

For the topping:

  1. Mix the tomato paste with a little water, add a little salt and oregano and stir.

  2. Sprinkle over the meat filling, then sprinkle with Edam cheese or Mozzarella and grated Parmesan cheese over. You can sprinkle from above and oregano if you like.

  3. Put to bake at 220 °C 30 minutes. Serve warm.

NOTE: If you have leftover meat, put it in a small bowl, cover with nylon, store in the refrigerator until tomorrow. You can make fried fantastic meatballs.
