Crispy Onion Rings, simple recipe

  • Incredibly economical, tasty and crispy onion rings are served as an appetizer or side dish. It is easy to prepare and ready quickly. Follow recipe.

Ingredients: cup 170 ml., simple, total time: 30 min. 6 servings
  • 1 large onion/ cut in rings 1 cm separated

Wet Ingredients:

  • 1 cup of milk

  • 1 Tablespoon of white vinegar

  • 1/2 cup sour cream

Dry ingredients:

  • 1 cup of flour

  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper

  • 1/2 teaspoon ground paprika

  • 1 teaspoon of garlic powder

Frying:

  • enough oil for frying / 1/3 of the pan

Preparation:
  1. Peel the onion and cut it into rings about 1 cm wide. And to double them separately, put them on a larger plate.

  2. Mix the dry ingredients separately in a deep bowl.

  3. In the second line, add all the wet ingredients and at the end add the sour cream, then mix the ingredients well again.

  4. Heat a lot of oil in a deep dish or pan.

  5. First put the cut rings in the wet ingredients, drain well, and then roll in the dry ingredients. Repeat this twice! Place the rings on a plate before baking.

  6. Put them in hot oil and fry for about 2 to 3 minutes, until they are golden brown. Place them on a plate lined with a paper towel to drain the grease.

  7. Serve as an appetizer or side dish with spreads such as mayonnaise, ketchup, or any other that goes with hamburgers. Buon appetito!
