Delicious balls of minced meat, with the addition of bacon and cheese, a specialty from Leskovac, city from Serbia cuisine. Ideally, they should be grilled ;). Very delicious !!!! Follow recipe.
Ingredients: simple, total time: 40 min., 4 servings
1 kg of minced meat/ beef or other
200 g smoked bacon or ham/ cut into little cubes
200 g Trappist cheese
3 cloves garlic/ finely chopped
salt and pepper to taste
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 tsp red-hot ground pepper/ or 1 tsp flakes of hot pepper
Preparation:
Cut the bacon and cheese into little cubes and finely add chop the garlic.
Mix it well, add minced meat mixed with baking powder, salt, pepper, red-hot ground pepper.
Mix everything well to make the mass compact.
Then take it out with a spoon make a shape, the shape should not be the correct shape, press it into the ball with your hands and make it irregularly shaped :)
Bake in hot oil and put them ready on kitchen paper to absorb excess fat.
The meat donuts are ready when they get a deep brown color!
Serve with baked potatoes and salad.
