I love this combination of pasta and seafood or squid, on Mediterranean style, it is very tasty and full of omega 3 I recommend to everyone to consume such meals. Plus, it's quick to make and very simple! The combination of seafood with seafood is always delicious and fantastic, especially washed down with a little wine, which gives an amazing taste! Follow recipe.
Ingredients: simple, total time: 35 min. 3 servings
250 g of spaghetti with octopus color/ black
300 g of squid/cut into rings
400 g of shrimp/ cleaned from the shell
3 Tbsp of extra virgin olive oil
1/2 tsp of chili powder
2 clove of garlic/ minced
1/2 glass of white wine/ or Chardonnay
50 g butter
50 g of parsley/ finely chopped
sea salt and pepper to taste
Preparation:
Prepare all the ingredients as described above.
For Pasta:
Pour water into a large pot, add 1 teaspoon of sea salt and heat over moderate heat until boiling.
When the water boils, add the spaghetti and cook according to the instructions until al dente. Save 200 ml of the liquid where the pasta was cooked, then strain it well. Make sure you do all this with the seafood sauce. That way, your lunch will be ready faster!
For Sauce Seafood:
Wash and clean the shrimp and squid, peel the first and cut the second into pieces.
In a wok-pan fry the chopped garlic in olive oil, until it releases its fragrance. Add a butter, wait for it to melt. Immediately add prepared squid and shrimp. Add salt and pepper to taste, mix with white wine, cook until the alcohol evaporates.
Add chopped parsley, chili sauce or powder to taste.
Add the cooked spaghetti to the seafood sauce, add 150 ml of the liquid from the pasta, mix quickly a few seconds, then turn off the heat.
Serve hot on plates.
Serve garnished with a few leaves of fresh parsley.
Buon appetito!
NOTE:
Instead of shrimp and squid, you can make it with clams or mussels!
If you like, you can add a little cooking cream to this sauce, about 150 ml. with the addition of pasta liquid. That will be enough.
You don't have to use chili powder in this dish, you can put sweet ground pepper instead!
I deliberately chose the spaghetti in black, because the aesthetics are much nicer, and secondly, the pasta is made of octopus color, which gives an incredibly good taste!
Make sure you make as much as you need so that it doesn't last overnight. If it remains, eat the rest during the day.
