  • Phenomenal recipe from Turkey. This recipe, how I made it great taste of soft dough and crispy bottom crust is ideal for some festive holidays. Try it, it is very easy. Follow recipe.

Ingredients: cup 200 ml, simple, total time: 30 min.
  • 1 glass of milk /200 ml

  • 50 g of butter

  • 2 Tablespoons of sugar/ 24 g

  • 1 bag dry yeast/ 10 g

  • 3 cups of wheat flour/ 310 g

  • 1 teaspoon salt 5 g

  • 1 egg and 1 spoon milk

  • sesame and cumin

Preparation:
  1. Pour 200 ml of milk, 50 g of melted butter, 10 g of dry yeast, egg whites and 2 tablespoons of sugar into a deep bowl. Whisk it well with a whisk, when everything is nicely whipped, add 310 g of flour and 1 teaspoon of salt.

  2. Whisk it all well and roll out the dough with your hands.

  3. When the dough has become nice and smooth, let the dough rise for 30 minutes. Cover the dish with plastic wrap and place in a warm place.

  4. Then take the baking paper and put the dough on it, make a ball and sprinkle a little flour on the dough and roll the dough into a circle with a rolling pin.

  5. When you have made a circle of dough, make sure the dough is 0.6 cm thick. Center of the dough, make a small indentation, a little with your hands form a recess in a circle. Dab your hands a little bottom, and with a knife gently make lines in the whole circle as if you were cutting a pizza into several parts. Make sure the cake is sun-shaped.

  6. Then when you have done that, mix 1 egg yolk and 1 tablespoon of milk and brush the complete dough, then mix the cumin with sesame seeds and sprinkle the complete dough as you wish. Thus, transfer the dough on baked paper to a larger baking tray and place in a preheated oven and bake at 180 degrees for 20 minutes.

Buon appetito!
