For those who prefer to plan ahead, you have the option to prepare this recipe a day in advance. By letting the mixture sit overnight in the refrigerator, the flavors will deepen, resulting in an even more flavorful burger when it’s time to cook.
Making the Paprika Sauce
The sauce that accompanies these chicken burgers is straightforward to make and adds a delightful kick to the overall dish. To prepare the paprika sauce, simply blend all the required ingredients together until smooth, and then heat the mixture in a saucepan for approximately 5-7 minutes. This brief cooking time allows the flavors to combine beautifully, creating a sauce that perfectly complements the juicy chicken burgers.

Ingredients: simple, total time: 60 min., 3-4 serving
For Chicken Patties:
650 g chicken breast/ cut into small cubes
2 eggs
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper/ or to taste
1 tsp dry bio spice Vegeta
1 big clove of garlic/ minced
1 full Tbsp sour cream/ or Philadelphia or 2 Tbsp Greek yogurt
4 Tbsp grated Gouda Cheese/ or Edam, Trappist, Cheddar...
2 Tbsp parsley/ finely chopped
3 Tbsp flour
1/2 tsp oregano/ optional
Olive oil EVO to taste
For Sauce:
1 fresh red pepper/ washed, without seeds and stems
100 ml tomato paste
salt and pepper to taste
1/2 tsp dry basil
1 small clove of garlic/ minced
1/2 tsp oregano
50 ml Olive oil
Preparation:
Paprika Sauce:
First, start making the sauce by cleaning the pepper from the stem and seeds, wash it and then cut it into smaller cubes, put it in a blender and add all the other ingredients, blend it into a cream.
Then pour it into a small pan to undergo heat treatment, cook on low to moderate heat and stir for about 5 - 7 minutes.
When it boils, leave it for another 1–2 minutes, remove it from the heat.
Leave the sauce to cool at room temperature and then transfer to the refrigerator to cool.
Chicken meat:
Wash the chicken breast and remove the veins and small bones.
Cut into thin strips and chop into small cubes.
Add the chicken cubes and all the other spices to the bowl, mix everything well, then cover with plastic wrap and put in the fridge for 30 minutes.
During that time, I prepared Brussels sprouts as a side dish, you can see the recipe here, or if you want French fries, see the recipe.
Processing:
Pour the oil into a large pan and heat it over moderate heat.
Scoop out the mixture and form a patty in the pan, press lightly with a spoon, repeat the same step for the rest of the mixture.
Fry 4 pieces at a time and turn after 5-6 minutes on the other side until it gets a golden brown color. I used a thinner spatula for turning.
Put the finished chicken burgers on a kitchen towel to absorb excess fat. Serve with the desired side dish and prepared sauce.
Buon appetito!
"A recipe may begin with ingredients, but its true flavor comes from the love and memories shared through it." ☕🍰🌹
NOTE:
If you want, you can add red ground pepper and a spoonful of mayonnaise to this mixture.
Instead of grated cheese, you can add 3-4 spoons of crumbs.
I used a thinner spatula to turn the burgers.
Keep the rest of the food in the refrigerator for up to 2 days, covered.
