1 bag baking powder/ 10 g
1 cup of ground walnuts
. Syrup:
3 cups of sugar/ also can be less
4 cups of water
1 slice of lemon

Preparation:
For Baklava:
Beat eggs with sugar until foamy. Then add the oil and milk, mixing all the ingredients to get a uniform mixture. After that, gradually add semolina, flour, baking powder and ground nuts, carefully mixing with a spatula until all the ingredients are combined.
Pour the mixture into a pre-greased pan, bake in a preheated oven at 180 °C, for about 30-35 minutes, or until it turns golden-brown.
Wait for the cake to be ready, cool before making the syrup, because the syrup must be hot and the cake cold.
Syrup:
Combine sugar, water and a slice of lemon in a saucepan, cook on medium heat until the sugar dissolves completely. After boiling, reduce the temperature and cook for another 10 minutes.
When the baklava has cooled, before topping this cake, cut the cake in equal cubes.
Pour the prepared syrup over it, then let it absorb all the syrup well.
You can decorate it with walnuts, let it cool completely, first at room temperature then in the refrigerator.
Buon appetito!
NOTE:
For this cake, you can reduce the amount of sugar in the syrup according to your taste.
Keep the baklava covered in the refrigerator or in a cool place, or for winter also on the terrace, covered.
