Mediterranean Tuna Sauce for any Pasta

## Quick and Delicious Mediterranean Tuna Pasta Recipe

  • A wonderful, delicious meal with a Mediterranean taste made of tuna and tomatoes, an addition to any pasta of your choice. Preparation is extremely easy and fast! Follow the recipe.

Ingredients: simple, total time: 25 min. 2 serving
  • 3-4 Tbsp Olive oil EVO to taste

  • 1 big clove of garlic/ minced

  • 2 can of tuna/ 100 g total

  • 10 cherry tomatoes/ cut into quarters or half (depends on the size) or 2 medium San Marzano tomatoes

  • 6 whole black olives

  • 1 tsp dry oregano

  • 1 /2 tsp dry basil

  • 1 Tbsp Parmesan cheese

  • salt and pepper to taste

Preparation:
  1. Prepare all the ingredients as described above.

  2. Heat the olive oil on low to moderate heat, then add the chopped garlic, fry for about 10 seconds, then add the cherry tomatoes that you have cut, mix everything well and simmer for about 5 minutes.

  3. Add strained tuna, whole olives, oregano, basil, salt and a little pepper, simmer for about 10–15 minutes until the tomatoes soften.

  4. Towards the end, add pasta as desired, I used spaghetti.

  5. Sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese as desired.

  • If you like spicy, you can add one complete chili pepper or red-hot pepper flakes.
