Ingredients: simple, total time: 35 min., 2 servings
  • 2 Tbsp seed oil

  • 1 big clove of garlic

  • 300 g Shiitake mushrooms

  • salt and black pepper to taste

  • 500 g Chicken breast/ cut into thin bite slices

  • 300 g can Bamboo/ cut into thin slices

  • 1 Tbsp cornstarch

  • 3 tsp Soy sauce

  • 150 ml water

  • 500 ml hot vegetable broth

Preparation:
  1. Place a soup cube in 500 ml of water and bring to a boil. Turn off the heat.

  2. While the broth is cooking, prepare the following

  3. Cut the chicken into thin, bite-sized slices, or you can cut it into strips if that's easier for you.

  4. Cut the bamboo into thin, bite-sized pieces.

  5. Cut the shiitake mushrooms into strips.

  6. Pour oil into wok pan and wait for it to heat up over low-medium heat.

  7. Add a whole garlic clove and fry until fragrant.

  8. Remove the garlic and add the shiitake mushrooms, add salt and a little pepper to taste.

  9. Sauté the mushrooms, covered, stirring occasionally, for about 10–12 minutes to moderate heat.

  10. After that, take out the mushrooms and add the chopped chicken, fry a few minutes.

  11. Return the shiitake mushrooms and add the bamboo and simmer for about 5 minutes.

  12. Pour in the hot broth and cook for about 7 minutes.

  13. After the time has passed, reduce heat, add the mixed soy sauce, starch, and water. Cook until the sauce thickens, but not too much.

  14. If the sauce becomes dry, add a little more water.

  15. Serve with white Chinese rice.

  • You can add 1 small carrot or green pepper in strips or chopped julienne and cashews to taste in this recipe.

  • Keep the rest of the food at room temperature for 1 day.
